Tidbits from the Life of St. Pius X

Pope Pius X

Underlying much of his teachings as Pope, Pius X had a deep love for the Bible.  For those who criticized the Catholic Church for not knowing and treasuring the Bible, Pope Pius X spoke intimately and knowledgeably about the truths contained in all of Scripture.  He warmly encouraged everyone who was involved in Catholic Biblical Scholarships, “The Catholic faith has nothing to fear from knowledge, but much from ignorance.”
