TO GRACE Applications for the next Grief to Grace
program to be held at Seton House Nov.18th to 21st are now
being accepted. Grief to Grace - Reclaiming the Gift of Sexual Dignity is
a spiritual journey for anyone who has suffered degradation or violation through
sexual abuse, rape, incest, physical or emotional abuse and neglect or other
forms of traumatic violation in childhood, adolescence or as an adult. To

The postman had just delivered Reverend
Smith’s mail. As the cleric opened envelopes and pulled out letters, he was
surprised to unfold a sheet of paper that bore just one word, “Fool.” The
next Sunday he announced, “I have known many people who have written letters
and forgot to sign their names. But this week I received a letter from someone
who signed his name, but forgot to write a letter.” BLACK

SMORGASBORD Six councils of the CWL will be hosting the
second International Smorgasbord at St. Pius X parish hall on Fri Nov 19th
at 6:00 pm in aid of Canadian Food for Children. There will be food and
entertainment from many countries. Get your tickets early as this event always

A YOUTH NIGHT! If you’re in grade 6, 7 or 8, join us on
Friday, Nov. 5th from 5:00 – 9:30 pm in the Immaculate Conception Parish
Center for a night of crazy games, rockin’ music, youth talks and drama skits
with the Catholic NET Ministries’ youth team! Every year NET Ministries’
teams mentor 28 000 Catholic youth right across Canada. This incredible event is
capped at 60, and filled up quickly last year, so register early! Registration
fee is $8 per person, which includes pizza, drinks and munchies. To register,

asking for your support; it costs you nothing and financially helps our schools.

Community Rebate Program which rebates 2% of all sales at Husky or Mohawk gas
stations and restaurants. By swiping a "CISND loyalty card" (not
a credit card, just a points card) at the pump or cash register, the CISND
will receive a 2% cash rebate of total sales (paid quarterly). To
