BUILDING COMMUNITY:- The question has come up in regards to the people who leave mass before the Final Blessing and/or before the procession reaches the back of the church.  The Parish Pastoral Council in dealing with this question is concerned about the demoralizing effect it has on the parish community and the purpose that brings us together.  Knowing no one wants to give the wrong impression, let us recommit ourselves to a spirit of fellowship and community; let us finish together what we have started together.

choir singers:- The 9am Sunday choir gratefully welcomes new singers.  Practice is Thursdays at 7:15pm.  For more information phone Gerry Curtis (250) 762‑0164 or Rita Diebolt (250) 762‑9089

INN FROM THE COLD:- Our parish has contributed $2000 towards this basic ministry for those who are homeless during the winter months.  Parishioners are encouraged to make their own contribution.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY:- is held Sundays at 11am mass.

Our Pilgrimage of faith:- has begun and is off to a great start.  We are at 70% of the Diocesan goal.  Thank you for your generosity.

PARISH VISITOR’S MEETING:- Wed. Nov 5th at 1:30pm.  All have a ministry to the sick and shut-ins are invited to attend.

A THANK YOU WE CAN ALL BE PROUD OF:- From CNEWA Canada. I would like to thank you for your generous contribution of $1000 to support flood victims in Western Ukraine. Your support will enable Caritas Ukraine to help more victims who on top of their present situation are starting to wonder how they will go through the coming winter with their damaged houses and lost crops.

BUILDING FUND:- In response to our ongoing Pilgrimage of Faith appeal some of our parishioners have raised the question regarding the money raised for the building fund. This money remains untouched until such time as major renovations are agreed upon by the parish.  This money will not be used for general upkeep (roofs, furnaces, etc.) or for operational expenses (the day-to-day running of the parish) and will respect the trust and intention of those who contributed to it.

ALTAR SERVERS:- Our parish needs more altar servers.  We will be holding a workshop for all altar servers (both new and old) on Saturday Nov 22nd at 11am.  This workshop will end with a pizza party in the hall.

ST THERESA’S 79TH ANNUAL TURKEY SUPPER:- will be held on Tues, Nov 11th at St Theresa’s 750 Rutland Road N, 4:30-6:30pm continuous serving.  Ticket are sold at the door.
