helping to create God’s kingdom here on earth; a world community of love as
we are called to do as Christians. By sharing a little of our wealth with our
brothers and sisters in the global south we are helping to give these men,
women and children the opportunity to step out of abject poverty; to have good
health, clean water, shelter, sufficient nutritious food, education and hope
of a better life free from oppression and uncertainty, It takes a very small
part of our wealth to achieve all of this. Please look at that lifestyle

Tidbits from the Life of St. Pius Xth
Fr.
Giuseppe Sarto It wasn’t long before Giuseppe Sarto’s reputation as a preacher became
known. A close friend of his, who
was serving as assistant in a nearby parish, was faced with the prospect of
not having a preacher for their local mission.
The priest, who had been contacted, had been unable to come and the
situation was desperate. He
decided to ask his good friend, Giuseppe, who was less than impressed with
being asked at the last minute. But,
with the help of Fr Constantini, they whisked him off to the nearby parish.
And, although he had only one hour of prep time, Giuseppe was an
instant success.
