PREPARING FOR EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS: All parishioners are asked to spend some time this week
meditating on the following passage: Saint Paul
Describes the Effects of the Gift of God
The cup we use in the Lord’s Supper and for which we give thanks to
God: when we drink from it, we
are sharing in the blood of Christ. And the bread we break:
when we eat it, we are sharing in the body of Christ.
Because there is the one loaf of bread, all of us, though many, are one
body, for we all share the same loaf. 1 Corinthians 10.16.17 SPECIAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION AT ST. PIUS X PARISH:
During the week of June 16th to the June 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 5

ST. PIUS X 32ND ANNUAL BAZAAR: We had “six” people at our Bazaar meeting on May
29th. I am “personally”
inviting you to come and participate in the Bazaar.
The majority of our regular workers have been involved every year
since our first Bazaar in 1976. We
work together, laugh, together and enjoy a wonderful sense of achievement.
I am especially inviting the younger families in our parish and your
children to phone me and offer to help.
I have opening in many areas and would be happy to hear from you.
God Bless, Sharon Schwab 861-2945. FRESH FLOWERS FOR SUNDAY MASSES: Thank you to the Bjur family (in memory of Helen Bjur) and to
Irene Mundie (In memory of John Mundie) for the kind donations of floral
bouquets which have adorned our sanctuary for the last few weeks.
Our parish does not have a budget for fresh flowers.
If you would like to continue to have fresh flowers in the sanctuary,
please either donate flowers from your gardens or place a contribution for
flowers in the collection basket. Be
sure to clearly mark it as flower donation and indicate your enveloper number
so you will receive a tax receipt. If
you wish your contribution to be in memory of a particular person and to be
acknowledged in the bulletin, simply indicate that along with your donation.
Drop off fresh flowers either at a daily mass or contact Meg at
762-8274 to arrange a more convenient time.
Donations of flowers for next week (June 16 to June 20) to be displayed
during adoration for the Eucharistic Congress would also be greatly
appreciated. OUR PARISH’S 50 ANNIVERSARY: 2009 will mark St. Pius X Parish’s 50th

looking for stories and pictures from the past and are open to any ideas on
how to celebrate. Don’t be shy,
start talking about it and let us know. YOUR PARISH NEEDS YOU OVERHEADS:
With the new screen now in place, the choirs need people who could
operate the overheads. Please contact Meg at 762-8274 or meg@greenwoodtechnology.com
if you could help out one of the choirs with this very essential ministry.
We would provide training if you feel a little timid. ALTAR GUILD:
We are forming an Altar Guild that would take care of setting up for
the weekend Masses, launder the altar cloths and arrange flowers. Not
all people would have to do all things and we would rotate weekends
depending on how many people are interested. This is a very fulfilling
ministry. Please contact Meg at 762-8274 or meg@greenwoodtechnology.com
if you are interested. HELP NEEDED: Catholic woman with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is looking for
