WITNESS OUR JOY:- All are welcome to attend the Nuptial Mass of Jocelyn Proulx and Warren Postma which will take place in our parish on Saturday, August 8^th at 10:30 am.

BAZAAR CONVENERS NEEDED:- Apple Pie Making, Treasures, Grand Raffles, Set up & Takedown, Children’s Toys & Games and the Cake Walk. It is the Parish’s biggest fund raiser and lots of fun but we need your help. Any booths that do not have a convener will have to be dropped from the bazaar. Thank you Sharon Schwab (250) 861-2945.

SALT + LIGHT TELEVISION:- is now streaming their programs on their website: www.saltandlighttv.org. Simply click on “VIEW LIVE” on the home page and enjoy all of their wonderful programming! Salt + Light is also available through Bell TV on Channel 654. If you are a Shaw subscriber, please contact them and encourage them to extend availability to your area.

THE ALL-AMERICAN BOYS CHORUS from Southern California will present a concert on Sun Jul 26^th at 7:30 pm at the Kelowna Community Theatre. The performance by the renowned 40-voice ensemble will feature a delightful and dynamic program of songs. Tickets are $25/adult. $20/seniors & $16/children and may be Purchased by calling (250) 762‑5050.

SETON HOUSE OF PRAYER:- Annual Outdoor Mass of Thanksgiving will be in Mary’s Grove on Sun, Aug 16 at 2 pm. Reception afterwards. Everyone welcome.

BIRTHDAY COFFEE:- Friday , July 31^st after Mass.

EXTERIOR RENOVATIONS (FURTHER NEWS):- We have had to make a slight change to our renovations. After opening up the roof in two trial areas, it was found that only half of the building can be properly insulated. As it is, the church portion has absolutely no insulation nor is there room for any without great expense (It would take about 30 to 40 years to make up the cost). Total cost of the project: including insulation in the hall but not the church is $65,000.

QUILT RAFFLE TICKETS:- Please pick up your books. The success of this fund raiser depends on your continued support. Last year our proceeds exceeded $4,000 for the Parish.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION:- A four week Marriage preparation course will begin at St. Charles Gamier on Tuesday, August 25^th at 7:00 pm. The cost is $60.00 per couple.

VENTURE INTO THE PAST:- Pioneer Day at the Mission Aug 8^th 10:00am to 4:00pm Father Pandosy Mission. Tours, Active displays & machinery.

OUR LADY OF PENTECOST INSTITUTE:- The 6 day Institute is sponsored by the Nelson Diocese Charismatic Renewal Service Committee will be from Aug 9-15 and is aimed at formation of Catholic Leaders. Registration will take place at Seton House of Prayer at 6 pm on Sun, Aug 9 followed by Mass at 6:30 pm and an opening Address and Overview of the week. The Mon to Sat sessions (Aug 10-15) will be at St. Charles Garnier Parish Hall after the regular 8:30 am Mass.
