HOLY COMMUNION FOR CELIACS Those suffering from Celiac react negatively to
gluten in wheat. Since all
communion hosts contain wheat, those suffering from Celiac are strongly
encouraged to receive from the cup. Please
let the priest know prior to Mass and a special Communion cup will be blessed
for this purpose and placed on the corner of the altar.
Due to the possibility of cross-contamination, no one receiving the
Sacred Host should receive from this cup. TRAVELING CHALICE As part of our focus on the call of God, families are
encouraged to sign up to take the Traveling Chalice home and pray the prayer
before any family meal. Please
sign up on the sheet provided in the church.
This initiative will continue into spring.

solution to stressful circumstances, abortion itself can become a contributor
to long-lasting stress of a different kind.
Many women suffer from flashbacks, depression, anger and self-punishing

simply means 'rediscovery'. The program offers the chance to rediscover
yourself, your spouse, and a loving relationship in your marriage. Tens of
thousands headed for divorce have successfully saved their marriages by
attending. Retrouvaille is not a spiritual retreat, not a sensitivity group,
not a seminar, not a social gathering. For confidential information about or
to register for the program beginning with a weekend on April 30th
email 1009@retrouvaille.org or
call 604-530-6710 or visit the web site at www.HelpOurMarriage.com SHARE LENT This is Development and Peace's annual fundraising
campaign. This year’s objective is to raise $10 million so we can continue
to support our partners in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. Ten percent of funds collected each year is set
aside for emergency relief allowing Development and Peace to provide immediate
assistance when disaster strikes, as it did in Haiti on Jan 12. The guiding principle of our emergency relief
program is to prolong the benefits of our humanitarian response by linking it
to a long-term sustainable development program. Development and Peace is the official international
development organization of the Catholic Church in Canada and the Canadian
member of Caritas Internationalis. Please check out our web site www.devp.org or call Jeanette or Les Atwell at
