PERPETUAL ADORATION:- As we pray before the Blessed Sacrament, our
souls are fed by the person of the Saviour in the two faculties of spirit that
need to be constantly fed. They
are the mind and the will. In the
mind we need light; in the will we need strength.
And both needs are met in an extraordinary way through earnest prayer
before the Eucharist. (Father John Hardon, S.J.). Jesus is inviting you to spend a weekly hour with Him in the
Blessed Sacrament. Phone (250) 860‑6444
for a scheduled hour. THANK YOU:- I wish to thank all the people for the many
prayers. God is most important in
my life and I have experienced many close calls in my lifetime.
Now I wish everyone the best God blessed merry Christmas and also
God’s best blessings to everyone in the New Year. Trudy Szulkies Rosary for peace & for families:- The rosary will be prayed every Friday at 2:40
until approx 4 pm in ICC church. One

Jesus and the consecration to the two Hearts.
Feel free to come for any or all of it. THE “W” IN CHRISTMAS [This story came in the
latest Diocesan Religious Education newsletter.] “My son Nicholas was in
kindergarten. For weeks, he had been memorizing songs for his school’s
“winter pageant.” The morning of the dress rehearsal I joined other parents
in the gymnasium and waited. The students were led into the room accompanied by
their teachers. Then, each group, one by one, rose to perform their song.
Because the public school system had long stopped referring to the holiday as
Christmas, I was slightly taken aback when my son’s class rose to sing,
“Christmas Love.” Those in the front row held up large letters, one by one,
to spell out the title of the song. As the class sang “C is for Christmas”,
a child would hold up the letter C. Then, “H is for Happy,” and on and on,
until each child holding up a letter presented the message, “Christmas
love.” The performance was going smoothly until we noticed her: a small, quiet
girl in the front row, holding the letter “M” upside down, which appeared as
a “W.” The audience at first snickered a little but the girl was unaware and
stood tall and proud holding her “W.” The teachers tried to quiet the
children but the snickering continued until the last letter was raised and we
all saw it together. A hush came over the audience and our eyes began to widen.
In that instant, we were reminded that there is a reason for our celebration.
For when the last letter was held high, the message read loud and clear: “CHRISTWAS
LOVE” As Christians we believe
that Christ IS and will always be, LOVE. May we be amazed in His presence and
humbled by His love. [Author unknown] CHRISTMAS MASS SCHEDULE
