SANCTUARY RENOVATION:  Thank you’s go out to all those who participated in last year’s bazaar.  Funds collected paid for the work. 

Thanks also go out to Barrie Stickland who started the project, Meg & Doug Greenwood, Nuno, Martin and all who helped paint, move furniture and offered their expertise.  

We still need to add 5 inch baseboard, matching the wood n the front, which will cover the holes in the wall.

ST. PIUS X:  August 21 is the Parish Feast Day of St. Pius X.  The coffee will be on for an informal reception after mass.  Please bring a snack and join us for this celebration.

CATECHISM NEWS:  Registration forms have been sent out to the families who were registered with us last year.  If you are in need of a registration form, please pick it up at the office.  Please get all registration forms in as soon as possible.

The first teachers meeting will be Tuesday September 16, at 7 p.m.  We hope to see all teachers there.

Catechism classes will begin Tuesday, September 23^rd, at 6 p.m.    Thank you, Sister Mary Ann and Bev Smith.

HOLY HOUR OF PRAYER:  Rachel's Vineyard sponsors a holy hour of prayer the third Tuesday of the month.  The next Rachel's Vineyard holy hour is August 19^th at Charles Garnier parish from 9 to 10 a.m. after the 8:30 a.m. Mass.  We invite anyone who is able to come and join us as we pray for an end to abortion and for the healing of all people who have had an abortion experience.
