GRADUATION RATE:-
Congratulations go out to the Immaculata 2009 Graduating Class. All
members of the graduating class earned a Dogwood Certificate and have
graduated from Immaculata. If you
wish to enrol your child at Immaculata for the 2009/10 school year, there is
limited space still remaining in some grades. Contact the school office
at 762-2730 to make an appointment for an interview. A

LITURGY:-
We will be having Children’s Liturgy after the 11am Mass beginning again in
September. We do have teachers
for the ministry. Each teacher will need an assistant one Sunday a month;
could be a student. If you are

We will begin Catechism on Sept 15th.

ANNIVERSARY OF ORDINATION:-
of Fr Peter Tompkins will be celebrated on Sunday, Aug 30th.
A BBQ luncheon will be held at ICC Parish, starting at noon. Cost is
$10 per adult and children are free. Activities and games from 12 noon to 3pm.

HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI & FRIENDS GOLF TOURNAMENT:-
Come
out on October 3 to enjoy a round of golf at beautiful Sunset Ranch followed
by a banquet. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome to enjoy the whole day

Cardinal
Giuseppe Sarto By the end of the third day of the Papal
election, a small delegation visited Cardinal
Sarto in his room. “The
outcome is plain to see,” they told him.
“You must accept the result, God wills it.”
Cardinal Sarto objected once again, but could not deny the will of God.
The next morning, when he had far surpassed the two thirds majority, he
bowed his head. “Will you
accept the will of this conclave?” the dean asked.
No one heard his first reply. When
he was asked again, he resigned himself to the will of God.
