WITNESS OUR JOY:- All are welcome to attend the Nuptial Mass of Jocelyn Proulx and Warren Postma which will take place in our parish on Saturday, August 8^th at 10:30 am.

BAZAAR CONVENERS NEEDED:- Apple Pie Making, Treasures, Grand Raffles, Set up & Takedown, Children’s Toys & Games and the Cake Walk. It is the Parish’s biggest fund raiser and lots of fun but we need your help. Any booths that do not have a convener will have to be dropped from the bazaar. Thank you Sharon Schwab (250) 861-2945.

Salt + Light is also available through Bell TV on Channel 654. If you are a Shaw subscriber, please contact them and encourage them to extend availability to your area.

SETON HOUSE OF PRAYER:- Annual Outdoor Mass of Thanksgiving will be in Mary’s Grove on Sun, Aug 16 at 2 pm. Reception afterwards. Everyone welcome.

FLOWERS FOR THE CHURCH:- If you have flowers you would like to donate please bring them to the church on Saturday morning between 9 am and 10:30 am.

MILITIA IMMACULATA OKANAGAN:- Marian mass celebrated by Fr. Cesar Macariola Thurs. Aug 20^th 7:00 pm at ICC. Everyone welcome. Refreshments to follow in the parish hall.

MUSICIANS & SINGERS FOR THE 50^TH ANNIVERSARY:- Anyone interested in joining the choir for the 50^th Anniversary Mass on August 23^rd is welcome to join us for practice on Thursday, August 6^th at 7:15 pm.

50^th ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND:- Our 50^th Anniversary is fast approaching; Aug 21^st – Aug 23^rd. Friday, Aug 21^st is the banquet (do you have your tickets?), Saturday Aug 22^nd is our Open House from 1pm – 4pm; view some history and have the children take part in our kids activities, and on Sunday Aug 22^nd; one mass at 10am with Bishop Cooney and Bishop Corriveau presiding.

QUILT RAFFLE TICKETS:- Please pick up your books. The success of this fund raiser depends on your continued support. Last year our proceeds exceeded $4,000 for the Parish.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION:- A four week Marriage preparation course will begin at St. Charles Gamier on Tuesday, August 25^th at 7:00 pm. The cost is $60.00 per couple.

VENTURE INTO THE PAST:- Pioneer Day at the Mission Aug 8^th 10:00am to 4:00pm Father Pandosy Mission. Tours, Active displays & machinery.

OUR LADY OF PENTECOST INSTITUTE:- The 6 day Institute is sponsored by the Nelson Diocese Charismatic Renewal Service Committee will be from Aug 9-15 and is aimed at formation of Catholic Leaders. Registration will take place at Seton House of Prayer at 6 pm on Sun, Aug 9 followed by Mass at 6:30 pm and an opening address and overview of the week. The Mon to Sat sessions (Aug 10-15) will be at St. Charles Garnier Parish Hall after the regular 8:30 am Mass.
