HOUSE NEWS:-
Ozanam
house has offered a home to many men since it was founded in April 2007.
As these men became whole within themselves, many began to look around
the house and community to see where they could offer a helping hand.
These men are taking an active part in talking to students about Drug
and Alcohol abuse, Share, SPCA, The Food Bank, Gospel Mission, Pro-Life, Inn
From The Cold, and KGH and more. COME
CELEBRATE OUR 50th ANNIVERSARY:-
Friday, Aug 21st is the banquet, Saturday Aug 22nd
is our Open House from 1pm – 4pm; view some history and have the children
take part in our kids activities, and on Sunday Aug 23rd; one mass at 10am
with Bishop Cooney and Bishop Corriveau. CHILDREN’S
LITURGY:-
We will be having Children’s Liturgy after the 11am Mass beginning again in
September. We do have teachers
for the ministry. However, each teacher will need an assistant one Sunday a
month, could be a student. f you

will be hosting its annual memorial service for the unborn on Pandosy Street
across from the Kelowna General Hospital Aug 23 from 3:00 - 4:00 pm.

PREPARATION:-
A four week Marriage preparation course will begin at St. Charles Gamier on
Tuesday, August 25th at 7:00 pm. The
cost is $60.00 per couple. 25TH
ANNIVERSARY OF ORDINATION:-
of Fr Peter Tompkins will be celebrated on Sunday, Aug 30th.
A BBQ luncheon will be held at ICC Parish, starting at noon. Cost is
$10 per adult and children are free. Activities and games from 12 noon to 3pm.
BYOB, Luncheon tickets MUST be purchased by Wed, Aug 26th, NO LUNCH
TICKETS will be sold at the door. MUSICIANS
& SINGERS FOR THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY:-
Anyone interested in joining the choir for the 50th Anniversary
Mass on Aug 23rd is welcome to join us for practice on Thurs, at

HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI & FRIENDS GOLF TOURNAMENT:-
Come
out on October 3 to enjoy a round of golf at beautiful Sunset Ranch followed
by a banquet. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome to enjoy the whole day
with us or you can come for the banquet only. For more information pick up an
information sheet in the church entrance, or stop by the school. CATECHISM
NEWS:-
We will begin Catechism on Sept 15th.
Please fill out your registration forms & either put them in the
collection in an envelope marked “Catechism Registration” or bring them to
the office. Registration forms
