Tidbits from the Life of St. Pius Xth

Fr. Giuseppe Sarto

Around the dinner table, Giuseppe Sarto was known as a man with a quick wit.  In his presence, the conversation seldom fell silent and fellow staff members would remark that his contribution was always thoughtful, advancing the subject when necessary, and humorous when it came to the telling of stories and anecdotes.  His presence was sorely missed whenever he was absent and silently cheered whenever he was around.
